中国财税博物馆自成立以来，围绕财税中心工作，致力于收藏各类财税相关文物、文献资料，并积极推动数字化博物馆建设，努力将博物馆打造成财税历史文化展示教育基地、财税历史文化学术研究与交流中心，构筑起主要面向财税系统的财税历史文化宣传教育平台。
